Description

Please try out my newly released revision 2.0 here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/376496

Thank you :)

You knew it was coming to this.

In TPU this is a fun very squishy ball, and you don't need to commit to a giant print like the basketball!

The PLA print (I used Matte White by Bambu) bounces well, and even sounds like a ping pong ball.

The PETG profile seems to be the best in my opinion, it prints better, and bounces more consistently.

Have fun!

Nice! Printed in Overture Super PLA+ on P1S. Bounces ok, I’d expect it to crack if really played with. Stull cool tho!

Cute model. Try the pla version. Stock settings, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layers.

You’re right, they can’t take much abuse! My PETG print still lives, but I’m sure it doesn’t have much life left. I’m working on thickening up the model for another revision, hopefully the next iteration can last longer! Thanks for trying out to model :)

Out of curiousity, did you try the PETG print profile? The layer height is smaller, and the speed was cut down a bit to alleviate the issues with the stock Bambu profile destroying certain prints.

I Actually used my own petg 0.1 mm layerhight profile at 50% speed and my chamber heated to about 40 degrees C
