Description

The Matter3d spools are a bit smaller than all the other variations I've seen. I resized the original fusion file in Blizzards model to “197mm” diameter and it fits like a glove.

Update March 24 2023: I received a spool that was too large for this ring with my latest shipment. I reached out to Matter3d and they said they haven't switched spools, so its possible the one I received was off, or their spool manufacturer has a tolerance that goes beyond this spool ring.

printed beautifully, unfortunately it does not fit the current basic pla spools from matter3d that I have. I knew that the size might not fit, still had to try.

I found the same with a few different M3d spools with the original profile, some were very tight and some worked. I increased the size of the second print profile I made with the Matter3d identification cutout and it worked better for the bigger spools Natter3d spools I had if it helps.

It’s hit or miss with Matter3d cardboard spools. I recommend printing 1 to see if it fits before printing the other side. Of the spools I bought from them, this print was either too big or too small.
