I developed this modification for the original Creality K1 extruder because I was constantly struggling with insufficient filament extrusion and jamming. It was so frustrating that I tried to come up with an improvement for the existing extruder.
While I'm still in the testing phase, it seems to have solved most of the problems. It is important to note that with the K1, especially when printing ABS and similar materials, the extruder motor and assembly can get quite hot. Therefore, it is advisable to print this extruder from ABS or even more heat-resistant material.

Update:
I have now printed about 300 hours with this extruder. It seems to have solved all the problems associated with extrusion. I have tested PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU.

I recommend printing with
- 4 wall lines
- a layer height of 0.2mm
- 25% infill.
For assembly, you will also need:
- 5 M3 threaded inserts
- M3 screw
- spring (optional) and nut.
Print from:
- ABS or similar materials
