Description

Here is a modular plate of 23 cells designed for seed germination until transplanting.

Once mounted, the model measures 23x27x6cm. It is designed to ensure enough space for root development both in width and depth is resistant enough to support the most powerful roots.

The slide system that forms the cells allows easy and smooth depotting, preserving the roots (photos will soon be added)

It can also be used in size 1:1 or 1:2 to create an aquarium plant decoration by preventing the roots from getting tangled.

Printing and assembly instructions :

  1. Print the PotCells.stl model five times to have a total of 10 slides. This is, on a 1:1 scale, what will require the most time and filament (but since the model is made to last, it is profitable in the long term).
  2. Print the PotStand.stl model only once, this is what you will use to assemble the slides.
  3. Assemble everything. Pay close attention to the orientation of the slides. Two slides fit into a notch. Be delicate, the notches of the slides are fragile.
  4. All you have to do is put soil and post a manufacture on Printables :) .

Notes :

  1. I advise you to provide at least 150 meters of filament to print the slides.
  2. Remember to pack the soil in the cells to have a clean depot.
  3. If you do not force the assembly and slide the slides straight, there should be no breakage. They are very adjusted, so you can gently file the notches if you are not sure.
  4. A plate is to be provided to place the structure in order to contain excess watering water.
