LumaFrame — Modular Lithophane Light Frame

LumaFrame is a modular light frame designed to bring depth and life to lithophane photos without locking you into a single look. Instead of baking color, warmth, or diffusion into the print itself, this system lets you tune the image after the fact — keeping the lithophane as the focal point while the lighting does the supporting work.

It’s built around a traditional black-and-white lithophane, with interchangeable layers behind it: diffusers, inkjet color transparencies, warmth filters, or nothing at all, giving you independent control over brightness, color, and tone. Swap layers, try combinations, and adjust the feel of the image without reprinting the litho.

The frame uses a standard Bambu lithophane LED light board mounted in a removable back panel. A reversible stand supports either portrait or landscape orientation.

• Transparencies use standard inkjet film, print image at 140x104mm and cut at 154.75x124mm
• Lithophane printed separately using your preferred workflow
• Commercial licenses available for selling finished units
