Description

Filament dry box w/ desiccant storage in the center. Don't waste desiccant drying extra space. this box has just enough room to hold a variety of filament spools and have minimal dead space to allow the most efficiency when keeping filament dry.

As you can see my filament was in dire need of this box as there were a lot of defects from extra moisture haha

Edit 1: Added a thicker lid in case you have warping issues, this with more infill should mitigate or remove it

Edit 2: Added tool to remove lid

Edit 3: Decreased height of center female threads and increased length of lid threads by 7mm(ish) to add room for printing error. should further help any warping in the lid when printing.

very cool design. only have one issue. the threads for the lid need to be longer. does not sit flush. lid is screwed all the way. I printed this in transparent filament frun sunlu. printed very nicely.

I wonder if it's more that the thread on the base needs to be lowered not that the lid needs longer thread, I'll look into it, really no harm in doing both as it leaves room for printing error. Expect a fix tonight Also ot should be noted that if there is any warping you will get this issue as well so me correcting the thread should leave room to correct warping

Much better with the adjustments. I printed this with more walls and a higher infill density though because I did find it easy to crack / separate the layers with its default print settings.

I do recommend higher infill in the thread and desiccant area, In my slicer I made it so that the desiccant section and its threads printed w/ more walls making it functionally 100% infill.
