Description

This is an emergency information card, also called an ICE card. It is sized to the size of a credit card for easy storage. The card includes pre-existing editable fields for fast information editing. Editing all card information fields takes roughly 1-2 minutes. This card contains the following information/features:

- Name
- Blood Type

- Important medical conditions

- Allergies

- Medications
- Medication dosages
- Emergency contact information

- health insurance information

- ICE identifiers on three sides of the card such that it is visible in several orientations within a wallet.

Printing:

Important note #1: You MUST use ORCA slicer in order to edit text fields. For the sake of making this file easy to edit I wanted to include pre-existing text fields. Text fields are editable through the Objects tab of the slicer settings panel. However, at present Bambu Studio does not have the ability to edit text in this way. Orca Slicer does. It is possible that other slicers might have that feature, but for best results use Orca Slicer.

Important note #2: It took a while to dial in the settings. If you are not skilled with slicer settings, it is not recommended to change any of the settings.

Note #3: a 0.4 nozzle print profile will be uploaded in the next few days. Note that both 0.2 and 0.4 versions are readable. However, 0.2 nozzle is clearer than 0.4 due to line width reduction capabilities that come with smaller nozzles.

How to edit fields:
1. Download the .3mf file from this page.
2. Open the file in Orca Slicer.
3. on the left-hand slicer settings panel, click on the “Objects" tab to display all of the objects contained within the model.
4. Each object is labeled to the corresponding field. From the objects list, RIGHT click on the object you wish to edit and select “Edit Text”.
5. A text edit window will pop up. Edit the text accordingly. The 3D model should update the text as you type. Note, highlighting the text in the edit menu seems to cause the menu to close. If that happens, repeat the process but this time use the backspace key to delete the existing text entry.
6. Once complete, slice and print. If using an AMS unit, ensure that the colors in the slicer are synced with the AMS unit.
6a. If you wish to print this file in Bambu Studio instead of Orca Slicer, you can simply hit “save”, close Orca, and then open the .3mf file in Bambu Studio and it should work fine. You won't be able to edit the card once in Bambu Studio, so if you need to make another change you'll need to go back into Orca and then repeat the process.

7. As is the card will print slightly thinner than a credit card and will be flexible. If you wish for the card to be thicker, simply increase the height using Scale tool in either Orca or Bambu Studio.
