Description

I recommend printing this in PETG, or ABS.

Electrical components required (can easily find off of eBay or Amazon):

One 12V DC, 10A power supply AC to DC converter including a female barrel plug.

One 12V DC 70W ceramic PTC car fan heater.

One 12V DC W1209WK Digital thermostat control w/sensor.

Velcro tape to attach heater to printer.

Remove the included plastic shroud on the PTC car heater but save the four screws. Those will be used to reassemble the case.

Follow directions included with thermostat control to connect the wiring between the thermostat and the heater.

Connect the input power to the barrel plug included with the power supply and slip it into the back cover from the inside before assembling.

I found a suitable area to mount the heater inside the printer out of the way without obstructing the cover. I attached the double sided tape to the bottom of the heater and the area on the printer to attach it to. This way the heater can be removed when not needed or maintanence to the printer.

At 25C the heater takes about 20 to 30 minutes to preheat the internal chamber of the printer with resin in the vat to prepare for proper resin printing.
