Clothes hanger

I have designed and printed a clothes hanger for my girlfriend. She had a store bought hanger that was wobbly and unstable. I have made this one to be able to store all of her hanged clothes.

The design is made with parts printed with PETG with a 0.6mm nozzle for extra strenght. It fits 25mm dowels with 2 shorther supports using 20mm dowels. I also used caster wheels with holes 35mm apart that I got from the hardware store. The dowels were bought from a woodworking store. I bought the dowels in 2m lenght and cut them to size. The highest rack is at 140cm and the lowest at 120cm. The base is the 60cm dowel that was left over from the highest rack and the other 4 dowels are 1m long. It is all screwed together by 3mm by 10mm woodworking screws. I assebled is so that it looks like on the pictures and after putting all the parts together i srewed them so i did not missalign anything. Everything was done using only my Bambu lab A1 mini, a stanley knife, pliers, a saw and a battery drill. It cost me about 50€ to make including the PETG and wooden dowels which were the majority of the cost. I decided to use 25mm dowels becouse they made the hanger very strong and stable. I experimented with different print orientations and the ones in the file worked the best for me with the use of minimal support. 

Using the 0.6mm nozzle made the layer lines visiable but its really not bad and it added a lot of strenght with just 2 walls. The supports were quite easy to remove with the help of pliers and the stanley knife. The hex shaped holes print nicely and allow for some space for wood to expand and retract.

The beauty of using dowels is that anyone can adjust any lenght of any dowel for the perfetly sized clothes hanger.

Can't wait to see your take on the clothes hanger with different colors of PETG and different wood for the dowels(I thought of staining the wood but it looked better to me as is).
