Description
This file is designed to evaluate the tolerance and dimensional accuracy of an FDM 3D printer.
The model consists of:
- A test rectangle with a series of holes having progressive tolerances, from 10mm + 0.1 mm up to 0.6 mm
- A cylinder with a diameter of 10 mm
- A rectangle with a side of 10 mm
The purpose is to verify:
- Which tolerance allows for a free fit
- Which tolerance requires pressure
- Which is too tight for insertion
The model is useful for:
- Initial printer calibration
- Comparison between different materials
- Verification of flow, retraction, and X/Y axis accuracy
