I would like to introduce you to the Phone Stand 2024 HEXA Version.

No AMS is needed here, but pay attention to your print bed adhesion and filament calibration so that you get a great and best result.

if you feel like it, print the hexagons individually and attach them with a drop of glue in each corner.

Have fun with this project and show me your colourful results

I think phone stands are just great. They are easy and quick to print and you can never have enough of them :-)

Just print all the parts, stick them together and you're done.

cool print! but the hex-grid doesn't really fit in the grid on the stand. was this intended or is it a problem of my print?

this is intentional, that's why the grid is so flat and you have to glue it in

just as a hint for other noobs like me: wait after printing until the grid is cooled down a bit. otherwise it can deform when pulling it from the building plate...

My accent color pieces printed just a little too big to fit without some modification and significant force. The hex pattern had to be glued n place. It still looks great! It keeps my work phone off my desk while my phone is on the charge stand, and vice-versa. Also great for my tiny portable oscilloscope.

Thanks for your comment, the side parts should also be a little harder to get in so that you don't need glue. the hex pattern is intended so that you have to glue them if you want to use them. I really like your colour combination

Very happy with this. Few notches to clean up, but nothing wrong with the profile. Thank you.

Too bad about the three stars, but if you read the text, it says that they have to be glued in. And they don't snap or lock into place.

must have missed it, I’ll adjust this accordingly. I see it on my laptop but didn’t populate when on my phone.
