Description

This model began from a simple request and ended up taking more time than I care to admit to finish properly. Originally requested by @7emie, this centaur slowly evolved through many iterations of sculpting, test printing, and proportion adjustments until it finally felt alive in both form and posture.

The Centaur Spear Guardian stands as a vigilant protector of forest paths and open plains. Flowing hair, layered cloth, defined musculature, and a grounded equine stance give the figure a sense of motion even while standing still. From every angle the silhouette reads clearly, making it a strong presence on the tabletop and an impressive piece for painting.

I am publishing two separate profiles for this model:

  1. EASY SUPPORT REMOVAL : The tabletop size version is optimized for standard 28 to 32 mm scale. At this size, supports are required under the spear, hair, and torso overhangs, but they remain relatively small and are fairly easy to remove. This version is ideal for gameplay pieces and fast painting workflows.

  2. MEDIUM SUPPORT REMOVAL : The display size version is scaled larger for collectors and showcase painting. Because of the increased size and weight of overhangs, this version includes larger integrated supports. These supports are stronger and more reliable for FDM printing, but they require a bit more care to remove. Removal is still fully feasible with standard tools and patience, and the result is a clean high detail figure ready for display.

Both profiles already include integrated supports settings, so no additional slicer setup is needed. Simply choose your size, print and remove supports.

This centaur fits naturally as a DnD character, a forest guardian NPC, a wandering nomad, or a heroic champion in any fantasy setting.

Thanks again to @7emie for inspiring this project.
