Description

Halo 2 Anniversary SMG with silencer game model designed for “Misriah Armoury” Fallout 4 nexus mod

Split and remodelled to allow parts to fit together easier.

I placed multi parts on a couple of plates, but split them down and printed more individually personally.

Glueing is required parts are fitted like this:

  • note the laser pointer (green under silencer) has a small part to glue onto it that butts up to the main part
  • the magazine (beige part on top of image) goes onto the side - I mounted it too far forwxard in the photos - you can mount it further towards the stock

End product rendered:

pretty good, I wish the locating holes were better, you have to just eye ball how straight things like the stock and body get glued together

This model should be scaled 125% for a more realistic size/feel. Also, some issues with the model: 1. there is a large gap between the trigger assembly and the upper. This seems to be caused by a sloped area at the bottom-front of the upper where the front of the trigger assembly should slide in to join with the upper. 2. There's no way to mechanically attach the stock to the upper. You're going to have to glue it. I don't know why the model doesn't use a tongue and groove on both ends instead of just for the stock. 3. the top of the laser assembly is flat. It should be rounded to match the diameter of the suppressor. it will need to be glued. 4. There is no mechanical way to attach the foregrip. It must be glued. 5. There's no easy way to attach the magazine. A shallow indentation in the upper would have at least helped with this. It will need to be glued. 6. The suppressor isn't rounded; it's round-ish with 26 faces. 7. The grippy bumps on the handgrip fell off for me. I'll probably just end up stippling the grip with a soldering iron to make up for it.

"Glueing is required parts are fitted like this:" I know it needs glueing, I am still slowly learning more and more in Fusion and will be tackling joints, tongue/grooves and fittings one day:)

He may have faced the same problem I sometimes get. After finishing the print Bambu Studio fails to sync with Makerworld automatically.I will have to do it manual again. If I dont it will be in the Rate List shown as incomplete and only a up to 3 Star Rating is possible.I personal dont rate at all in this case instead to decrease the average rating.

@wollip Yeah I know thats the strange thing with ratings - I get it on both sides though - people want their points so they go rating crazy at the beginning of the month and how can you rate something 5 stars if it never finishes or if you get the dreaded sync error? I do what you do though - if I didn't finish one, I tend not to rate as unless there was a physical problem with the file it's probably on me or my build plate :)

The little pin goes on the side of the laser unit under the silencer and goes into a small pin hole on the body under the silencer
