Hello everyone,
Since I have printed lithophane boxes many times, it always bothered me that these photos could never be displayed in their entirety when cropped. That's why I designed a box with a 3:4 aspect ratio. The photos I created with Image to Lithophane Generator are 9cm x 12cm in size. The top photo has a square dimension of 9cm x 9cm. This is simply placed at the top of the frame and glued with 3D printing adhesive. The hole is adapted for the LED lamp, which is available at this link: Druckleuchten | Action DE .
The hole has a diameter of 72 mm. The base is 25 mm high, so that the height of the pressure lamp matches the base exactly. The dimensions of the lamp are 130mm x130mm x166mm
About the pictures:
I designed the box so that pictures with a maximum thickness of 3 mm fit into the grooves of the lamp. I am attaching a screenshot with the parameters I used from: Flat Lithophane Maker.
