Description
This is an improved version of my original V1 LED riser, this one is design to be used with this external glass prop for venting: https://makerworld.com/en/models/193585
21 March 2024: Updated print profile. Made some slight corrections to the position of the keys and holes in the liner and reflector, and extended the reflector cap to bounce more light into the printer and reduce chance of blinding the operator.
Low profile glass top LED riser with reflector to focus the light inside the printer and reduce the light leakage out of the printer. Uses standard 10mm LED strip, approx 135 cm / 53 inches long. Uses a TPU liner for soft dampening of the glass top. Efficient design minimizes filament waste and easy print. Fits both X1 and P1 series of printers.
Use a white or silver material for the reflector, ideally PETG but PLA works too for most.
