I am planning to make a time lapse of the removal of my old house, in a couple of weeks - for this purpose I purchased a DJI Osmo Action 4 (I wasn't happy with my old Gopro Hero 6, anymore - but that's another story…)
For this purpose I couldn't find any accessory that allowed me to attach my DJI Osmo Action 4 to a tree in the corner of my property (the Gopro sticky pad mounts don't stick on the tree bark for long…). So I came up with this design - the L shaped angle at the bottom end allows to attach the holder to a tree, using cable ties. An M5 hex nut as used on all the Gopro accessories fits into the hex opening on the holder (you can either purchase the hex nut or “borrow” it from another Gopro accessory).
The holder/mount can be used for trees, rods, poles etc. or anywhere where you can use a cable tie. The holder is compatible with all action cameras that have a Gopro compatible mount.
