Description

This is the first prototype of the Airless Baseball Ball v1.0. Printed in PLA for support and general structure test. Recommended to be printed in not so rigid materials for bouncing aproach and durability.

Im currently testing the thickness until getting the feel and weight likeness of throwing.

Why does this look like the same model as your tennisball?

They look similar as they are two balls with similar seams but they are not the same regardless of their aesthetic differences. This model is made from its topology like a baseball ball with its seams of more squared angles (and stitches details), to put it briefly. The two models seek to replicate different bouncing and weights, so they are designed from the beginning to differentiate themselves more than in appearance!
