Description

Summary

This is the Exotic weapon from the game The Cycle: Frontier. The Cycle: Frontier is a PvPvE first person shooter made by Yager Development. They had unfortunately announced that they will be shutting down the game as of September 27th of 2023. I couldn't let the games memory die so I began working on acquiring 3D files for all of the weapons, armor, and creatures so as to preserve the game in physical form. This is my bold tribute to a game that I truly loved and as they say at Yager, Fortuna Favors the Bold. More models from the game will be coming soon. Enjoy!

Revision 1: Added Weapon Charm Loop to left side of gun.

Gun Lore:

Based on their ubiquitous rivet guns, also known as 'energy hammers,' the 'Hammer' was an attempt at developing a low cost personal defense weapon. Popular among those wanting a dependable high-powered pistol, its weight and complex operation make it unattractive to the mass market.

Though unconventional, the crystal fragments fired by this weapon carry enough kinetic and thermal energy to defeat light armor and inflict terrible wounds.

Side note: I will be working on cutting the files better so that they can be printed in smaller chunks. As of right now, printing the entire gun took me about 20 hours and an entire roll of filament. A large portion of that filament was wasted on supports. Hopefully I can reduce that time and material cost. For now this is what I have and I figured I would put this out for the public to have. I will be posting this to other sites for hosting 3D files soon.

Notes:

Warning: Supports can be an extreme pain to remove for this model since there is a lot of pieces that are hidden under edges within the prop.
