After using the shipping container design of a poop bucket for quite some time, I realized that some of the poop was bouncing out and falling on the floor. So I designed an extender to eliminate those from falling out!
This part is designed as an extension to this particular model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/68968#profileId-73190
It is a simply slide-on friction fit and no glue is necessary to add it.
I've been using this for almost a month now, and can confirm that the amount of poop that misses and hits the floor has been drastically reduced. With this design as-is, I get a very rare case where the poop misses, but usually it's because the printer has shaken enough to move the poop chute far enough away from the printer that the poop just falls through the gap. Without attaching the chute to the printer, that problem can't be solved, other than just simply making sure the collection chute stays close to the printer by physically moving it. Having said all that, I've only had around 1-3 poops that missed the poop collection system when using this extender over the past month, with many hundreds of poops being created during this same time.
This is NOT the entire poop collection system, if you are looking for the rest of the container design poop collection system, see this model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/68968#profileId-73190 . What is listed on this page is simply an extender for that system that drastically improves it's ability to catch all the poops that are generated by the machine.
