Description

Funny PEW PEW MADAFAKAS Lightbox

The lightbox has a diameter of approx. 220 mm and a depth of 40 mm. To illuminate the box you need an LED strip approx. 80 cm long. In the print profile there are two breakouts in the rear part of the box. One to run the LED strip through and one to hang the box. If you need other holes or want to eliminate the existing holes, you can do this in Bamboo Studio with primitives. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to get in touch.

If you have any requests for changes or ideas, just let me know.

Hi, awesome model! I noticed some holes in the text on the print, which I can see on some of the prints here but not on others. When I checked the model, it appears that these holes are in the design itself (and not actually holes but specks of black in the white text). They are on the "W"s in "PEW PEW" and the K" as well (I circled them in the pic taken from my slicer before slicing). Are these intentional?

Yes these holes are not a failure Should make a vintage style. There is a Print profile without these holes. but when you use this please check the filament print order. Please print Black first. You write the comment under my lightbox but you refere to my coaster🤔

Thanks! Sorry about that, I was looking at both designs, but right now I'm only printing the coaster. I thought the holes may be bullet holes, but then thought, the cat could not possibly be such a good shot that it hit both W's.. twice :D I printed one coaster so far using your profile and it looks great. For the second one I tried to thicken the coaster using some slicer tricks, and my hot end snapped (that had nothing to do with the model or profile though, just the hot end's time and some back luck :D ). For the third coaster (really 2nd), I tried painting the holes in the text white, to see if they look better. I will post some pics over on the coaster listing when they are all done. Painting is an easy thing to do though, but it's cool to know it's intended as part of the design, I think maybe the tiny holes did not resolve well with the 0.4mm nozzle I used the first time.
