Description

The answer to the question of “where should you set your laundry detergent cup?” is here! This is a cup holder that screws on to your detergent bottle and drains the liquid soap back into the bottle. The threaded cap spins freely separate from the rest of the model so you can ensure your cup holder is in the correct location after secure attachment. After much trial and error I now have a solid print profile that utilizes minimal support. The trick is to not clog the drain channel, threads or channels. I would recommend using support material if you have it, but with this profile I have done both with support filament as well as default and they both work well.

The profiles are set for Default for support filament, so be sure to change that setting if you have a support filament.

Can view a timelapse of the print on YouTube here

Happy Printing!

Worked perfect for All Free and Clear!

I absolutely love these! Not sure why all the manufacturers are different though LOL but I am so glad you have various sizes! Thanks for the design!! Printed fabulously! I was even able to add text to the bottom to keep them all straight! One for All, Tide, Snuggle, and Downy; cause I use what is cheaper at the time - no Gain, we have allergies to that one.

Printed great but the "All" screw cap is a bit too small for the bottle. Great model, just wish it would work for what I need.

Seems I gotta figure out what changed. Apologies for the inaccurate print. By chance are you also using the free and clear by all?

Yes, it is the free and clear. Bought it at Costco. This is a great model and if you want me to test your fix just let me know and I'll reprint and give you feedback.

I have uploaded a new print profile that I believe will work with the All Free and Clear from Costco, it is labeled (All - Sun - New Bottle). Give it a try and let me know how it works.

the “All” profile did not fit the 32oz All Free and Clear bottle I have, too small of a thread for the bottle. Any suggestions on which profile/size to try instead?

I will have to open the files again and check it out. Sounds like for your All Free and Clear the screw on part is too wide and wont catch the threads on your bottle. Want to make sure I am understanding correctly. Or is it the pitch of the threads that is off? I am personally using the Tide and Downy at the moment so don't have a bottle to try for the 'All' brand. It appears several other users have downloaded and used that same profile and have not heard any others not working. Want to help out if I can.

the “All” profile was actually too small of a thread for my bottle. My Bottle has a 37.3mm Male OD on the thread. Not sure how that compares to your other profiles/sizes?

Hi, I was looking and comparing this remix to the original, however I have failed to locate any geometry changes. Can you please tell me what changes you made when you remixed it? I am trying to see what benefits I could expect when printing your remix, vs the old file I have used for years on the original platforms this was uploaded on. Thanks!

Detergent fell off the washer and snapped this off. My wife likes it so much she asked me to print another. Great work. I'm sure I'll print another when she switches brands too.
