Description

A desktop meshtastic node, inspired by the 1970s Data General Dasher terminal, for all your mysterious and important meshing.

This is a versatile model, the keyboard is optional, various options are provided for antenna mounting, an optional main body with a  dual 21700 integrated battery holder, with batteries installed provides power and weight to keep the terminal from sliding arround.  I used a FakeTec board for my build, but any mesh board without a display and connections for i2c and the user button will work, such as the RAK Wisblock 19007 or the Heltec T114 should work.

When printing you will only need one of the back plate, front plate, and main body options. You will need to print 2 of the side knob part one for each side.  If you don't want the keyboard you can skip printing any of the keyboard parts.  I used Polymaker Matte PLA Army Blue, and Polymaker Panchroma Matte PLA Cotton White to match the original terminal when new, a more yellow white or beige could be used to show the effects of age, sun, and smoking.  The keyboard mount piece can be printed in any color, as it is not visible when assembled.

This model remixes the original terminal design to use a 2.42 inch oled display, a front button, a separate back panel to more closely match the original terminal with optional antenna and usb connections, and an optional keyboard.  The keyboard case has been remixed by integrating it into a new outside styled to match the original terminal, while keeping the ability to use the silicone cover.
