I use these to make battery enclosures etc. They are safer than using real batteries, which can deliver a lot of current, particularly in battery packs.
These are 100% electrically neutral, so even if you put them in the wrong way, your circuits will be fine! ;)
Nothing special here, use what you feel is right. I used:
I did not need a brim even when printing multiple copies at the same time.
PLA or PETG will be fine. If they are only for testing in enclosures you are creating, then PLA is fine.
If you need them to be strong, for mechanical reasons, then PLA is OK, but you might need more infill or an extra perimeter.
These are dimensionally accurate, there is no fake wrap around the top and bottom, but the button on the top, that you need is correct.
These print quite quickly, as they are not overly fussy. The goal was to have enough that I could print enough to use instead of real batteries. Experimenting with 10+ at a time didn't look sensible. Be safe, use dummy batteries.
