As a programmer, I practically live in my headphones throughout the day. However, traditional holders often cluttered my desktop space. Clamp holders were a constant annoyance because I usually roam around the apartment during meetings and tend to run into them when rushing back to the desk.
Seeking a solution, I desired a minimalistic holder that seamlessly integrated into my workspace, remaining inconspicuous when not used. The holder functions like a drawer, effortlessly sliding out when required and discreetly tucking away when the holder is not needed.
The cutout is designed for 8mm diameter screws, accommodating 4x something mm screws snugly. While 3.5x and 3mm will work, the latter leans towards the flimsy side.
Tape Recommendations:
When taping it to the underside of your desk, invest in quality tape designed for this purpose. I recommend 3M VHB 4611; a small amount goes a long way. Choose your placement wisely because once it adheres, it stays securely in place.
