Description

Adrenaline

Adrenaline, a hormone and neurotransmitter produced by the adrenal glands, plays an essential role in the body's "fight or flight" response to stress. It increases heart rate, blood pressure, and airflow to the lungs, allowing the body to act quickly and survive. Additionally, adrenaline is used as a medication for life-threatening conditions such as anaphylaxis and cardiac arrest due to its ability to constrict blood vessels and increase heart rate. In summary, adrenaline is crucial for both our survival response and medical interventions.

This model is perfect on the wall at home, at work or in the classroom.
