Description

This is a beautiful hexagon shaped box with 12 different decors to choose from. Size is 5cm height x 10cm width. Print the bottom part, the top part and the lid/decor you want to use. Use super-glue to fixate the lid to the top part.

If you do not want any decor on the lid, print the plain lid.

The model “Top With Taller Edge” provides for a lid which is not flat and has a slightly higher border (2mm) in case you like this better (see images).

Love the way this looks, bought the copper silk pls specifically when I saw this and how slick it looks. I do kind of wish the tolerance was a slight bit larger to make for easier on off to just slide. but still love it either way! My only question is how do you clean up the flat surface design? The filament texture is making it quite dull. (I’m extremely new to printing😅)

Hi and thanks for your feedback. You may need to calibrate the flow of your filament and also level your bed. It looks to me as if there is too much filament being squished out and/or the nozzle is too close to the bed and thus creating these prominent lines. After fully re-calbrating your printer you can also turn on ironing of all top surfaces in your slicer to produce a smoother finish.
