Background

This was a small side project to fill up my engineering portfolio, but I've uploaded it here just in case someone wanted to make their own macro-pad.

What You Need Before Starting

I designed this with an Arduino Pro Micro in mind.

M3 (4.2mm OD M3 ID) Brass Thread Inserts are for the 5 Pillars

The 4 main ones are for securing the top plate and the shorter one was to keep the 1 Potentiometer from sagging down.

18 Mechanical Switches and Key Caps.

A bunch of wires.

Soldering Iron and Solder Wire.

Pin Headers for the Arduino (They should come with some included with the Arduino)

Software

• Notepad++
• QMK MSYS
• QMK Toolbox

You'll need a small bit of knowledge on how to upload code to the Arduino, all my knowledge came from YouTube, but it's straight forward and you can change each key to whatever you want using the online VIA website, which does it for you in a clean GUI
