Description

I pulled my old RCs out from under the bed and had an old Neo Fighter that I built 10 years ago but have never driven… for some reason the servo mount was missing, probably on a servo somewhere lol. Was going to order one but it was totes expensive, either buy a milled aluminium version or a the whole DT-03 “C” parts tree. Either way, almost $50 CAD delivered.  So, instead I designed my own!

Fits perfect with a standard-duty Futaba servo, but admittedly its a little heavier than the original at 9g. I used PETG-CF to give it lots of stiffness and strength. I also just used the standard self-tapping servo screws (m3 i believe). I printed with 10 walls which is essentially 100% infill. Doing walls gives it lots of strength along the long wall and esures the servo mount screws are solid. The body mount screws are also quite strong. If the screw holes are a little tight just scratch them up a little bit with a smaller drill bit and its a-ok. If your printer is not well-configured you will see some slop in the screw holes and they will be hard to drive screws in…

Hope this helps someone save some time!

If Im missing anything else or I break something from my DT-03 kit you will see it come up here :)
