I have made something similar to keep cats off my pc. For best results I've found spikes of multiple different sizes work best.

I was trying to balance between comfort and uncomfortable. I landed on cones. Our cats absolutely will not sit or stand on them.
I also seen similar devices on Amazon if you're in a hurry and don't want to wait on the printer.

Works as designed. wondering if some way to attach multiple grids together could be printed up. for now, just using zip ties. thanks for a good design.
