Testing ESP32 camera with Articulating Mount on Prusa MK3.5.
Module: https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005006074477423.html ("ESP32-CAM downloader"). The unit I got has 2MB of PSRAM. Any other ESP32-CAM should also work.
Firmware: https://github.com/Jerzeek/PrintCam-Firmware
The firmware delivers RTP and JPEG streams to a web browser and also pushes still images to the PrusaConnect API. Additionally, it can activate the onboard LED for PrusaConnect images, ensuring adequate performance in dark conditions.
Articulating Arm: https://www.printables.com/model/3407-articulating-raspberry-pi-camera-mount-for-prusa-m
Camera can be mounted with USB cable on top or at bottom (I'm using it “on top” only to get LED higher, above lens).
“org-” files are originals from remix source.
Note that there are few versions of “camera-adjust.stl” out there. My ESP32-CAM module required an (2-3mm) off-centered version ("org-camera-adjust-offset-2 2.3mf") while others might need a different variant.
When installing the ESP32-CAM PCB in the enclosure, be careful with the micro switches protruding from the sides (they break off easily).
Source files (Fusion and step) are provided.
