My first creation! My brother in law asked me to make him something with my printer and knowning he is obsessed with bee's - this seemed like a obvious choice. After a browse of other sites, I saw there were similar ones but they didn't work for his space so I decided to make my own.

This key holder is made up of individual hexagons which as they current stand can be mounted on the wall or be free standing. The design has 5 “key holders” as standard but more can be added easily by copying and pasting.

Each hexagon is an individual shape, allowing you to move things around (delete or even add) to this to make it your own when you print it. The inside of the hexagons have been coloured to match the “key holders”.

The small ring can be fragile so caution is advised when printing and adding it to your keys, but easily holds keys in the slots. Pictures show a printed version.

All settings are “standard” for a Bambu A1 printer - 0.4 Nozzle print on a “Smooth PEI Plate / High Temp Plate”. Single color run time is 4 hours and 17 minutes, using approx. 150g of filament, with these settings and dual color run time is 8 hours 53 mins (on a single plate) using approx. 246g of filament. If you split the build into “key holders” and the actual beehive, you can reduce this time down to 7 hours 34 mins and the total filament is approx. 209g (this is letting Bambu optimizer placement of items on the plates).
