Summary

Kad370 on 2018 created this simple and wonderful boat, for testing vase mode. I used wood filament and PLA Glitter, but it should work with any PLA filament.

All parts are designed for 0,6mm nozzle!!!

For best results use 0,6mm nozzle or higher. Boat hull is designed for using spiralize outer contour ( vase mode). Place file in vertical position, just like on photo, set 0,2mm layer hight, bottom thickness to 1,4mm. It is very important to set bottom thickness to 1,4mm, otherwise you will get messy print.

Post-Printing

If you are using wood filament, you can use sandpaper to smooth outer surface of boat hull and apply thick layer of clear coat to get smooth and shiny finish (optional)
At the end glue deck parts to the hull with CA glue. Boat stand can be assembled without glue.
