Kaelis Starblade, “Twin Vow Duelist”

A younger elf in blue-and-gold armor with a bright star emblem, wielding two swords in a low, ready stance. The pose reads agile and aggressive—an honor-duelist or skirmishing officer.

Backstory
Kaelis was raised on the edge of court and wilderness—half etiquette, half ambush-craft. He joined the Wardens as a “banner-squire,” but made his name in a public duel that prevented a civil war between two allied city-states. His twin blades are not a flourish; they are a promise: one sword for monsters, one for men who become them. Kaelis suspects the Wardens’ enemy is not only a cult, but a network inside the very noble houses that fund the order.
Adventure Hooks
- A rival duelist claims Kaelis cheated and invokes an ancient trial-by-combat—winner gets the right to command a Warden outpost.
- Kaelis’s second blade is inscribed with a name he refuses to explain; that person appears on a wanted poster.
