I wanted to tune my Ender 3 V2 and found this model. As I can't mount the Z-holder on my printhead, as it is supposed to be, I remixed the X-holder and added a holder for the Z direction.

My first design was to just copy and paste the gauge-mount, so supports are needed.
But then I had the idea how to make it supportless. You just need a longer screw.

One downside still is, that the clamping mechanism is not supported by default (I used support from buildplate only) and so it may be closed and you cannot clamp your gauge like in the original design.
In my case clamping was not necessary, as it was a tight fit - I had to add some tape on my gauge anyways, because my gauge has a diameter of 8 mm and the design has 9.6mm. So a 9mm shaft on your gauge will word best, or use some tape around the shaft...
