Description

Personalized Custom Picture Frame

This was designed to use these 1mm thick acrylic: Amazon Link, or anything similar. The frame works just fine without the protective sheet too.

Instructions to edit text:

  1. Rotate plate to view from underneath.
  2. Click on “Objects” tab under the Filament selection.
  3. Right click on “edit this text”, and edit the text, font, and size. Or delete text for text free print
  4. Click “Slice Plate”.
  5. Warning Verify that the text and the picture frame are both on the first layer. If not, move the picture frame down to the first layer or start the process over. Sometimes during the manipulation of the text, the bodies move slightly. Do not print unless everything is flush on first layer!
  6. For best text results, verify that the color of the frame prints before the color of the text. Click the hexagon settings button on the plate to verify the first layer sequence.
  7. Important, let the bed completely cool before pulling off the frame and the back lid to prevent warping!

The back lid snaps in, “INSIDE” on the inside. You can push it from the front to get it out.

When I click here to remove the existing text, and hit backspace to remove it, Bambu Studio goes haywire and shrinks the model down to zero size.

Are you trying to remove the text entirely? If so, don't "edit" the text. Right click for the menu and click "delete".

I've updated the print profiles, so that there is one plate that has no text. Plate 3.

Replying to @mthib :
No, I am just trying to backspace through the text to put in my own text.
