The dual filament holder mod for the Sovol SV06 is a great addition to anyone who regularly uses multiple filaments. The design is simple yet effective, with the only modification being a mirrored and reinforced barrel nut using the original lock design. The filament barrel itself has not been changed, but it is available for download for simplicity, saving the trouble of searching for it on the Sovol GitHub. The tolerances are tight, but you can adjust the scaling to your preference. I recommend using four perimeters on both pieces for added strength, and if you plan to use the mod extensively, PETG is a more durable material than PLA. This mod is an excellent example of how small changes can make a significant impact on printer functionality, and I highly recommend giving it a try.
