Storing filament in a stable dry environment is important as drying, it can prevent brittleness and extrusion issues with proper care. I've developed this Wedge to fit inside the Bambu Lab Spool with openings on the filament side and no sharp edges that tend to pierce already fragile vacuum bags. This model has been updated to enhance the strength on the inside wall as some issues were previously found when a bag was vacuumed too hard. I have also made up mouse-ears (as Bambu Studio hasn't got this option as yet) to assist in adhesion which was a known issue. The bonus Funnel has grown a little in the mouth to facilitate easier filling. Overall I'm happy with this version and look forward to hearing any feedback.
There is now a PETG profile for this, I've ignored it for too long. In preliminary use its been robust and feels sturdier than the PLA model. Both are handy to have, use spare filaments and fill a plate full in downtime, post pics if you get creative :)
You asked, I thought, it happened. Linked below is the new Desiccant Wedge, the "Stubby" version. This will fit your full Bambu spools better and are easier than ever to print.
