Description

I wasn't happy with any of the spool holders out there that can take the bigger spools too - so here is my version! Max spool with: 11.5cm

This print uses PCS 608 Skateboard bearing, I got mine here: https://amzn.to/3r7NkKE (100 Pack) or here: https://amzn.to/3Sw0Cfj (50 Pack).

I had already printed others, but they were not designed for my purposes. But this one is super awesome and mega good. Thank you for this print profile. Now I can also use it with 2.5Kg. Thank you thank you thank you !!!

Top and great for large rolls. I put the bearings in position with some silicone and a light tap

Very Good i used some 3d Printed Bearings instead of the metal ones.

It was a bit finicky to print the rolls. Models fell down eventually because of the bad adhesion. After adding some surrounding manual supports, applying some glue to the bed and some fine tuning I was able to print without an issue. I guess that’s because of I have used cheap and bad quality filament. Model is functioning great though. I think this kind of spool holders are much more versatile than the ones where a single roll goes through the center of the spool. Kudos !

Great spool holder, I use it with beast 3kg spools. But not be impatient like me, let the print cool down then rip off the plate. Otherwise base of the spool holder may deform.
