Description

These Micro Flexigrids are a scaled-down evolution of the original Flexigrid design, reengineered specifically for 0.2 mm nozzles. Every feature has been reduced to half the size in each dimension, resulting in a model that is 1/8 the volume of a standard Flexigrid—while still retaining the familiar sliding, tactile movement that defines the series.

Despite their tiny size, these Micro Flexigrids are surprisingly strong for what they are. They’re not indestructible, but they hold up well when printed cleanly and handled as intended.

The initial set includes:

3×3 (12 mm cube)

5×5 (20 mm cube)

7×7 (28 mm cube)

Each model is provided in a two-color version to highlight the structure, but they also print beautifully as a single solid color.

⚠️ Important printing notes

These are not beginner 0.2 mm nozzle prints. You should already be comfortable printing with a 0.2 mm nozzle and with the specific filament you plan to use. A freshly cleaned build plate is strongly recommended for reliable adhesion and clean results.

For best results, remove the print from the bed as soon as it finishes. The raft tends to separate more cleanly while the build plate is still warm.

Do not attempt to print these models with a 0.4 mm nozzle. You will end up with a solid block of plastic. If you want some Flexigrids for printing with 0.4 mm nozzles, you can find them here

If you enjoy pushing your printer’s precision limits, these Micro Flexigrids are a fun and satisfying challenge. If you print one, feel free to share photos—especially if you experiment with different color combinations or materials.
