Giraffe and Lion

🦁🦒 Update 25 Apr 2026 - Added profiles for Lonely Lion and Lonely Giraffe

As a few of you wanted to see these two on their own, I’ve added profiles for each individual character.

🔄🌈 Update 14 Feb 2026 – Full Colour Profile Added

I couldn’t sleep knowing I had uploaded a single-colour profile only because of a past mistake 😅 So here you go — a brand new coloured print profile has now been added.

This updated profile:

• Includes full colour configuration (as shown in the photos)
• Has improved supports, especially around the tails and ears of both the giraffe and the lion
• Makes colour changes much easier if you want to customise, or you can simply print with the suggested palette

⚠️ It is a long print. I prioritised quality over speed because I wanted this couple to look as beautiful as possible. You are free to adjust layer height and speed settings if you prefer a faster print with slightly reduced quality.

🧵 Support recommendation:
The profile is configured to use PETG HF as support material, which allows for much cleaner removal. This is particularly important for achieving a nicer final finish.

I would absolutely love to see remixes focused on improving printability and reducing print time.

🦒🦁 Cute Giraffe & Lion Duo (Customisable Names)

This is a small, cute giraffe and lion set, designed as a decorative pair. This was my first original creation, so while the print is not absolutely perfect, it comes out good enough and looks great once printed and coloured.

✨ Customisation

• Each animal has a flat area at the bottom where you can add a name
• Simply edit the text in your slicer or CAD tool before printing

🖨️ Printing Notes

• The models are laid horizontally, which:
  • Makes the names print more clearly
  • Reduces print time when mixing colours with AMS
• Designed to use PETG as support material for PLA prints
  • Supports remove very easily with this setup
  • Current settings assume PETG supports

🎨 Colouring

• Colour information was accidentally lost, sorry about that
• You will need to repaint the model yourself using the slicer paint tool
• This also gives you full freedom to:
  • Choose your own colour palette
  • Improve colour transitions
  • Experiment with better print quality

💡 Notes

• This model can definitely be improved, and I’d love to see:
  • Better colour ideas
  • Cleaner prints
  • Remixes or refinements
