Description

*** Version 2 Found Here (Easier printing, faster, less materials, stronger) ***

A sliced and segmented model of the Super Destroyer from Helldivers 2.

Measuring at 15" long (nose to tail) and 5.5" wide when printed at 100% scale (included print profile).

I do not know the lore accurate measurements, so I cant provide an estimated scale compared to in game.

Supports required, recommended printing the front completely vertical, the two rear halves on their flat faces.

The guns are printed sepparatly, to be glued on later.

Print one rear gun, to mount on the rear center mount.

Print two Missile pods, to be mounted on the two center mounts.

Print two Forwards guns, to be mounted on the two front center mounts.

A printable stand can be found here, couteousy of CatPRAW:

Printing this now, I'll update when completed. Please wait democratically. update. printed well. I printed with a .06 nozzle and wasn't too long of a print. The main part is extremely fragile and removing supports took about as long as the print, but I think it was worth it. I don't see any other way to do this print either so I consider this to be a great upload. now I just beed to figure out how to do a name plate in the right font. thanks for the make!

I think the way may to mod the model by adding some support ribs to the front that are hidden. I noticed the long beam under the flat broke on mine.

Thanks for the input, a version 2 is out now addressing strength concerns. You can reprint just the nose section and reattach it if you dont want to start over. https://makerworld.com/en/models/250210#profileId-266459

Turned out very nice. I should have added in some connection points (I usually use Hex dowels) to get everything aligned since it is broken into 3 models, but it came together nicely without them. Overall, super nice print!!

What font did you use for the name of the ship?

How did you print/What was the orientation that you printed this to make it so clean? Did you use supports?

Very good model quality, there are some parts that require supports that are hard to remove. mostly in the front part behind the panels, if possible would recommend break away support material. aside from that, looks pretty good.

Came out really nice. suggest anyone that's going to print this to play around with the support settings though, very difficult to remove as it is.
