This is a remix to make the largest print in place ball bearing I can fit on my print bed, 250mm in diameter! This is not a simple scale up that would have thrown off the tolerances and created excessive play in the bearing. I've scaled the housing and the balls differently to ensure the tolerances are maintained, so the bearing runs smoothly without a lot of slop.
It does need supports under each ball, but I found the tree type supports to break off cleanly and easily. For this profile, I used PLA support material, but regular supports work fine also. I have found that a few drops of light oil do make the bearing spin even better.
Hope you enjoy it.
