Description

------- A P2S Riser which fits like a glove -------

UPDATE: added a print profile to print new style of bars for the left side. They are designed to hold/hang 2 build plates, and its a direct replacement of the existing bars, no need to reprint the riser again. Photos and print profile attached. Thx

This riser designed with grooves on the bottom which grips the edges of the printer frame, so compared it to other designs it wont shake/vibrate when the printer is working, retaining original noise levels and sturdiness.

The glass secured with bars which sits on top of the riser panels. They are a push fit design, no glue needed. The tolerance to glass is minimal, so the glass sits tight, it doesn`t slide left to right while the printer is working.

The frame doesn`t interfere with the USB slot.

The design divided into 3 plates, takes about 7h altogether and less than 300g filament is needed.

No sanding or glue needed, just push the panels together and push it down onto the frame of the printer.

Ps: the bars which are holding the glass might seem identical, but there is a thin and thick side, it is possible to fit them either ways, but the glass will only fit if they are pushed in the correct way. If you find the glass doesn`t fit, just rotate them 180 degrees.

If you liked the model likes, ratings and boost appreciated.

Designed a Dome for soft materials, which sits on the top of the riser, works for TPU or ABS. There is a V2 profile where the dome includes the riser. If interested, you can find it here.

  • Infill: 15%
  • Supports:  required for front panels
  • Precision: Tight tolerances so ensure your printer and filament are calibrated
  • Print Bed: Keep the surface clean for best adhesion and accuracy
