Description

Description

I was not truly satisfied with other door stops (Door holders) laying around so I designed this for my own household purposes.

This one is for a big gaps (like holding barn doors) but you can scale it up and down and it can be used in various applications.

Features

  • Top surface has a wave grip to avoid slipping behind doors.
  • Primary version is optimised for saving filament.
  • Support-less version is optimised for printing speed but will require a bit more filament.

Recommended print settings

  • Layer height: 0.2- 0.28mm
  • Extrusion width: 0.4mm, forced
  • Infill pecentage: 15-25%
  • Infill type: grid, gyroid, honeycomb, triangle, or cubic (infill combination can be used as well if supported by slicer of your choice)
  • Walls: 1 for top/bottom layers, 5 for all others
  • Solid top/bottom layers: 5
  • Supports: Download added print profile for primary version; no supports needed for support-less version

I don't know if it would look as good but if you were to rotate the hexagons they wouldn't need supports ;)

True, by turning the angle of the hex they no longer needs support. Well spotted
