Description

Six different dog tag models designed using only PrusaSlicer as the editing tool, you don't need any other software.

None of the models are precisely original (especially the bone... hehehe), in fact, several of them are quite common and popular on the web (I wouldn't know which ones to reference as a link for the remix), however, all the models were elaborated from scratch exclusively using PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 Alpha 6, I hope this makes them easier to edit and accessible for anyone with knowledge about 3D printing. In all the designs, you can change the name of your pet and add the contact number; furthermore, all of them are simple, fast, and easy to print.

In all .3mf files, you will find two lines of text, one to edit the name and the other for the phone number. Obviously, PrusaSlicer allows you to change the style, size, and depth of the font. Note: The phone number is for representation purposes only and is used as an example, it does not refer to the contact number of any particular person.

The phone number is in the rear side of the dog tag.

I designed them with a large dog in mind, specifically my friend's Spanish Mastiff, so don't forget to check the size of each model and scale it according to your needs.

You can scale the model using these buttons, but I don't think it's the most convenient way to do it:

I definitely recommend unlocking the scale factor and adjusting it directly on the X and Y axes to avoid changing the number of layers used in the model. However, when slicing and before printing, it is convenient to check that the model looks good and that the resulting dimensions (especially in the hole for the chain) are appropriate.

Additionally, PrusaSlicer recognizes that the element is a logo or sign (an excellent feature, by the way), so you can take advantage of this command to easily slice with the color change in the correct layer.

At the end, you should get something similar to this in the slicer.

I hope you like it and I would love to see your makes on your pets.

Happy printing!!!
