Description

Broken Glass Window Decal – 3D Printed Illusion

Add a realistic “cracked glass” effect to any window, mirror, or glossy surface with this simple 3D printed design.
This model creates a convincing shattered-glass look without damaging anything — just place it and watch people double-take.

*Based on the popularity of this model I have created another one that is custom fit for use on phone screens (https://makerworld.com/en/models/2108250-cracked-phone-screen-prank#profileId-2280577 )

Fun fact:
If you print it in transparent PETG or PLA white, the model will stick to the window on its own when you press the bed-side of the print against the glass. No adhesive needed!

Features

  • Realistic multi-directional crack pattern
  • Prints fast and flat
  • Works in transparent, white, or frosted materials
  • Great as a prank, holiday gag, elf on the shelf or fun décor
  • Self-clings to windows due to the smooth underside of the print

Recommended Settings

  • Material: Transparent PETG (most realistic), or white for high-contrast cracks
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Allow to cool and then carefully use the scraper to work from outer edges to the middle

Photos are printed in Inland Transparent PETG
