Another LED light box design as I work out the details on features. This one has the white diffuser (ties all the logo pieces together and evens up illumination) and reflector printed in at 0.4mm/2 layer thickness, a light shield over the hanging fixture opening, strain relief for wiring (stanchions have slots for zip ties), and plugs for the holes (lip inside the box for smooth sides). Note the three holes in the bottom and lower sides all use thick plugs while the hole in the back uses thin plugs (not marked thick). These don't need support for the holes. The plugs have a little slop to make friction fits depending on your printer. Should be good to go to print with minimal extra work. Just needs an LED light strip, a zip tie, and maybe a little silicone to hold the logo.
Keep in mind it's a low melt temperature fully closed plastic box. They don't like bat signal wattage. ;-) I'm running 4W (plenty bright for my use) in one and the box is slightly above room temperature. If you go above 4W, please keep a close watch until you are comfortable it won't get too hot.
The interior photo is from my Mr. Zogs light box but they are essentially the same other than shape. There’s extra plugs on the back build plate. Delete as desired before printing.
