Caffeine and Coffee
In the realm of coffee beans resides a tiny powerhouse called caffeine. This molecule, found in coffee, is renowned for its stimulating properties. When coffee is brewed, caffeine permeates the drink and makes its way to our brains. There, it blocks the neurotransmitter adenosine, resulting in increased alertness and focus. So, every morning, as we savor our cup of coffee, it's actually caffeine that gives us a push to start the day.
