I don’t know, Helen… “science-food” from a goat with spider legs? That can’t be right for the kids.

HELEN (cheerful, mocking):
Oh, Marjorie, you sound like a pamphlet from the cranks downtown. LaMerk’s scientists tested every curd. You think they’d risk their reputation on something dangerous?

MARJORIE:
It just feels… wrong.

HELEN:
What’s wrong is doubting progress. “Smart mothers trust LaMerk. The unfaithful will starve in the coming storm."
