A simple yet powerful family crest design. The model is quick to print, in half an hour you are done. Perfect for the premiere of the second part :) or a party you forgot you needed to come in costume.
No need to be detailed, the 0.20 layer works great.
Ideally print the badge body in two colours, just use a simple colour change on layer 26 (at 5.20). But of course you can use some fancy multimaterial solution if you have it available. Black and silver or white are the obvious choices, but imagination is your only limit, so feel free to be creative :)
The clip mechanism is designed so you don't have to use glue, but if you're worried about losing the badge somewhere, feel free to glue it on for sure…
I've included two variations of the clip - one you simply slip into the hem of your shirt or shirt pocket. The second one is for the metal safety pin. You can use a plain one, or a slightly dented one from an old badge, which I'm sure you have plenty of at home. When assembling, first insert metal pin into the holder and then insert the whole thing into the badge. It won't work the other way around!
